What energises you at work?
The camaraderie between the drivers. Most of the team are willing to help each other when difficulties arise.
What’s one thing that surprised you about working here?
The diversity of the products we offer, which keeps expanding to meet the demands of the customers.
What’s your favourite way to unwind after a busy day?
Being with my family, especially the grandchildren as they keep me feeling young.
If you could snap your fingers and become an expert in something, what do it be?
Racing driver or F1 mechanic.
When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Carpenter or lorry driver
If you could trade places with anyone for a day (famous or not), who would you choose and why?
Freddie Flintoff. To lead the life he has and to do what he does now as a tv presenter.
What three words do you think your friends would use to describe you?
Dependable. Trustworthy. Approachable
What would we most likely find you doing on the weekend?
Resting and spending time with family as they mean the world to me.
Are you a dog or cat person?
Both. Cats are independent but always playful. Dogs help to keep you fit!
Do you have a hidden talent? What is it?
Decorating. Self-taught to paint, hang wallpaper and tiling.
What’s your favourite food product at Heritage and why?
Potatoes: you can always create a meal from spuds.
If you could only have three apps on your phone, which would you pick?
Facebook. Google. Banking.
What’s your favourite sport to watch and which team do you support?
Formula 1. Mercedes & Red Bull
What’s one item you can’t leave home without?
Mobile phone
What’s the top destination on your travel bucket list?
Iceland (not the shop) to see the Northern Lights.
What’s one hobby you’d love to get into?
Flying gliders or small aircraft
What’s your favourite TV show—the one you’re always watching on repeat?
I have two: Top Gear and Heartbeat.
If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Sunday roast
What’s the weirdest food you’ve ever eaten?
I’m a traditionalist when it comes to food. Generally, stick to what I know and like.
