Food Superheroes
Encouraging the next generation and their parents to eat more healthily
Many people don’t eat the recommended minimum of five portions of fruit and vegetables a day, childhood obesity and other food-related illnesses are also on the increase. At the same time, 15% globally go hungry while in the UK we waste approximately one-third of all food. A sustainable food system is about health and well-being for all – individually, locally and globally. To help educate and assist we have two areas on our blog devoted to Eating healthier for less and a nutritional area which includes a series of blogs called Project munch which provides lots of resources and ideas to help encourage healthy eating in younger children.
Food Superheroes leaflet for Primary schools
We’ve created a short leaflet to engage with primary school children which should be fun but also full of facts too (It also includes a discount code for parents to use on our home delivery service too). View and download the Food Superheroes leaflet for primary school children here
