Lovely lollies
There’s nothing better in hot weather than a refreshing lolly and what better than a fresh fruit one. They are also really great to use for teething to sooth sore gums (ensure you don’t add any extra sugar)

Raspberry and Watermelon lollies
Prep time: 4 hrs
Serves 4
Ingredients
- 1/4 watermelon
- 200g raspberries
Method
Cut the flesh from the watermelon and remove the seeds. Put in a food processor or blender with the raspberries and blend until smooth, strain through a sieve into a large jug. Pour into ice lolly moulds and freeze for at least 4 hours. To remove lollies from moulds, dip them briefly into hot water to loosen the lollies.
Mango lollies
Prep time: 4 hrs
Serves 4
Ingredients
- 2 ripe mangos
- Juice of 2 limes
Method
Peel the mangos and cut the flesh off the stone. Place in a food processor or blender with the lime juice, then blitz until smooth.
Strain through a sieve into a large jug. Pour into ice lolly moulds and freeze for at least 4 hours. To remove lollies from moulds, dip them briefly into hot water to loosen the lollies.
Blackberry and orange lollies
Prep time: 4 hrs
Serves 4
Ingredients
- 300g blackberries
- Juice of 2 oranges
Method
Place the blackberries in a food processor or blender with the orange juice. Blend until smooth, then press through a sieve into a large jug
Pour into ice lolly moulds and freeze for at least 4 hours. To remove lollies from moulds, dip them briefly into hot water to loosen the lollies.
