What’s one thing that surprised you about working here? The distance the vans and routes travel on a daily basis.
What energises you at work?
I’ve always enjoyed driving having worked in the Automotive Industry all my adult working life until l joined Heritage. I enjoy being out in the countryside one minute then l can be by the coast or in the middle of a busy city centre the next. Meeting different people every day including customers and general members of the public and getting to know customers and build that relationship, so you both know what works and the customers’ requirements.
What’s your favourite way to unwind after a busy day?
I’ve had motorbikes since l was 8 years old so coming home and either tinkering in my workshop on my bikes or riding them. I also build bikes as a hobby having just finished a 2 year project in memory of my dear friend who sadly passed away and l built his bike he never got to start. I’m now its guardian and l would like to do another now. Its then nice to spend time with my Wife, 4 children, 1 puppy and 2 cats!

When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Fast jet pilot (I tried but failed on eyesight)
If you could trade places with anyone for a day (famous or not), who would you choose and why?
Tom Cruise – I love his films his dedication the fact he does all his own stunts and he’s a good looking chap as well.
Tell us something about yourself that would surprise most people who know you.
I used to be into playing musical instruments throughout school and college, Drums, Trumpet, Trombone, , Violin and Recorder!
What three words do you think your friends would use to describe you?
Cuddly Teddy bear, Kind, Friend of the world
Are you a dog or a cat person?
We have a Cavapoo puppy called Teddy and he’s adorable and two 7 year old female cats Willow and Sue so both.
Do you have a hidden talent? What is it?
I’m supposedly not too bad at Arm Wrestling.
If you could only have three apps on your smartphone, which would you pick?
Ebay, Messenger and Facebook Marketplace!
If you won a million pounds, what’s the first thing you’d do?
Buy a bigger house mortgage free, a new car for myself and my wife and a family holiday to Disney Florida as we’ve done Paris a few times and would love to go there for the kids obviously 😊 invest, save the rest and continue to work, oh and maybe a few more bikes! You say first but that would all be within hours of the money entering the account!
If you could snap your fingers and become an expert in something, what would it be? Electrical Engineering.
What’s the greatest gift you’ve ever received? Becoming a dad for the very first time.
What would we most likely find you doing on the weekend?
Either tinkering or riding with one of my bikes, I currently have 5 and my daughter has a motocross bike so teaching and riding with her. Cleaning the family car, pottering in the garden, walking the dog and watching my boy play rugby for his club on a Sunday (he’s really good, much better than l was)
What’s your favourite sport to watch and which team do you support? British Superbikes and the TT.
What’s one item you can’t leave home without? Phone.
What’s the top destination on your travel bucket list? Not exotic but lve never been to the Isle of Man, its my kind of place, unrestricted roads out of the towns and villages and home to the tt races. I’d live there if l could.
What’s one hobby you’d love to get into? Narrow boating.
If magic was real, what spell would you try to learn first? Disappearing!
What’s your favourite TV show or film—the one you’re always watching on repeat? Big Bang Theory.
What’s your favourite season and why? Spring as l struggle with the colder months and the first warm spring day really makes you feel alive.
If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? Curry.
Where’s your favourite place to eat locally? I love curry’s so when l can escape the children 1 spice in Devizes.
Would you rather cook or order in? Order in.
What’s the weirdest food you’ve ever eaten? Snails.
What’s your favourite food product at Heritage and why?
This is hard as l have built up a few now but l love the Smoked Applewood cheese which is great with crackers and a pint of the Danish Dynamite IPA, these are always on my regular shop with Heritage!
What’s one thing on your birthday wish list? A Yamaha MT 10 Motorcycle (one day)
