After a three year transition we are pleased to announce the following changes to Heritage. At the same time as Kay retiring Ken has also stepped back from the Managing Director role. Ken will continue as a non-executive Chairman and will still be involved in some day to day business as well as being available to advise on things. We are really delighted Ken isn’t totally retiring so we can continue to benefit from his vast experience and knowledge. Ken will be enjoying his extra spare time to continue with some of his new interests and hobbies including his ‘DJ’ing as the ‘Greengrocer’. A set by ‘The Greengrocer’ was experienced at our recent warehouse party to celebrate Kay’s retirement and 61st birthday.
Darren Powell
Darren has taken on the role of Managing Director to ensure the continued stability and growth of Heritage, keeping a close eye on financials and the overall management of the business. Darren is also a major shareholder.
Tom Edwards
Tom is our Sales Director, he has also become a major shareholder, alongside, and equal to Darren.
Fred Palmer
Fred has been promoted to the role of Operations Director. We know he will succeed in this role and will continue to improve and transform Heritage.
Emma Charlton
Emma has also been promoted to the role of Marketing Director. Emma has been with Heritage for 3.5 years and is excited to become more involved in the overall management and direction of the business.
We expect this extremely strong team to continue the steady growth of the last 12 years. By carefully identifying and nurturing talented individuals within our organisation, we have ensured a seamless transition of leadership and secured a prosperous future for Heritage. We will continue to provide you with first class customer service. We hope you continue on our journey with us.
Kay retired at the end of March. She has been an integral part of Heritage’s success and has worked incredibly hard over the years as the Operations Director making sure that everything worked smoothly as well as answering lots of your helpdesk queries personally. She’s been the central figurehead with Ken and will be really missed. We all wish Kay an amazing, well earned retirement to spend more time with her family and grandchildren, travel more, party harder and just enjoy being Kay 🙂 We hope to still see plenty of Kay at social events.
