Nectarine Crumble

This crumble is the perfect dessert to have after your Sunday lunch. If you’re not a fan of nectarines, you can swap them out and add in peaches, apricots, plums or any other fruit to your liking. Now all you have to decide is whether to serve it with custard, cream, ice cream or all 3!
Ingredients
- 4 Nectarines
- 2 tbsps Honey
- 40g Butter
- 80g Plain Flour
- 10g Sugar
- 40g Rolled Oats
- 1 tbsp Demerara Sugar
Method
Preheat the oven to 180°C Fan/ Gas mark 4.
Chop Nectarines into small pieces, place them into an oven-proof dish and drizzle over the honey.
In a large bowl, rub together butter and flour.
Once the flour and butter resemble breadcrumbs, stir in the sugar and rolled oats. This is your crumble mix.
Add the crumble over the fruit and sprinkle over the Demerara sugar.
Cook in the oven for 25 – 30 mins, the crumble should be golden brown.
Once cooked, leave to cool for 5 mins then serve with cream, custard, or ice cream.
