We always aim to source UK-grown fruit and vegetables whenever they are in season and available, supporting British growers wherever we can.

However, the recent prolonged hot, dry weather has put significant pressure on UK crops and availability of some vegetables is now extremely limited.

As a result, over the coming weeks you may notice that a small number of items in your 5adaybox, including fine beans and sugar snap peas are sourced from further afield.
This isn’t a decision we take lightly. Where good-quality UK produce is available, we’ll continue to choose it, but rather than leave items out of your box or compromise on quality, we’ll occasionally need to source from trusted overseas suppliers.

Our priorities remain the same: great-quality fresh produce, excellent value and UK-grown wherever availability allows.
