Awards, Accreditation & Testimonials
We are the proud holder of SALSA accreditation in brokers, storage and distribution demonstrating compliance for the following scopes of production: ‘The wholesale, storage and distribution of chilled fresh fruit and vegetables, dairy products, prepared vegetables, cooked meats and raw meat; and other ambient prepacked food and drinks”
The SALSA food standard is independently audited and recognised widely in the industry. Written by experienced food safety experts, SALSA is a robust and effective food safety certification scheme which is appropriate for smaller food producers and processors. Approved suppliers can demonstrate that they operate to standards that are recognised and accepted across the industry and exceed the minimum standards expected by enforcement authorities. SALSA approval is only granted to suppliers who are able to demonstrate to an auditor that they are able to produce safe and legal food and are committed to continually meeting the requirements of the SALSA standard. SALSA is a non-profit making joint venture between the four main trade associations representing the UK Food Chain. The Institute of Food Science and Technology operate the scheme throughout the UK. All of these bodies make up the independently chaired Governance Committee which oversee the SALSA scheme.

Heritage Fine Foods are proud to be founding members the Wiltshire Marque.
The Wiltshire Marque has been created to highlight products and produce that celebrates Wiltshire’s bounty of flavour – including vegetable growers and organic farms, traditional breweries and luxury chocolate makers, and venues that champion homegrown Wiltshire produce.
All of this is right here in our region, so we’re here to spread the word to locals, tourists and anyone else who appreciates food and drink with great provenance.
Buying locally has plenty of benefits. First, you’re helping to support the local economy and create jobs, putting pounds directly back in the pockets of those who grow and produce the essentials you eat every day. You’re also ensuring other local businesses can flourish and develop high quality products, with less processing and less impact on the environment.

“The team are professional, friendly & committed to providing outstanding service plus regular & consistent supply.” Peter Vaughan
Vaughan’s Kitchen & Cookery School is a culinary brand recognised in Wiltshire (and beyond) for its focus on professionalism and quality of produce.
Any chef knows that they are only as good as their ingredients and that is why Vaughan’s Kitchen & Cookery School choose to use & support Heritage Fine Foods. They are a Wiltshire brand that holds the same virtues as we do.
We know that our company would not be who we are without our suppliers & therefore working with a Wiltshire-based food produce company, 2 miles down the road from our HQ, is really important. This is exactly what ‘Life & Business’ in Wiltshire should be all about.

“I would recommend Heritage as supplier in a heartbeat.” Julie Moss
In the ten years that we have used Heritage Fine Foods, no other supplier has matched them for delivery and quality of both product and service. The fact they are our longest serving food supplier, serves as testament to how outstanding they are. They have grown and evolved without comprising the highest standards they uphold. I would recommend them as supplier in a heartbeat with confidence that there would not be the slightest disappointment to those I recommend to.
