What are your main responsibilities? Ensuring our third party consortium customers are invoiced in a timely manner. I also do reporting and help out with processing email orders.
What energises you at work? Being busy, delivering results and taking on new challenges.
What’s one thing that surprised you about working here? The rural location of the office – in 30+ years of working I’ve never had the musical accompaniment of peacocks and sheep during my work day.
What’s your favourite way to unwind after a busy shift/day at work? Pass – not sure I know how to relax/unwind.
If you won a million £, what’s the first thing you’d do? Pack a bag, head to the airport, pick a destination from the departure board and buy a First Class ticket to somewhere sunny.
What would we most likely find you doing on the weekend? Driving around Wiltshire taking the kids to various sporting activities.
Are you a dog person or a cat person? Dog. Which is funny as I was petrified of dogs growing up but I now have two furry nephews, Noah (a husky, black lab cross) and Jago (Bernese Mountain dog, Welsh sheep dog cross) who I adore.
What’s one item you can’t leave home without? Door keys!
What’s the top destination on your travel bucket list? New Zealand, home of my favourite tipple (Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc).
If magic was real, what spell would you try to learn first? I’d like to be able to fly.
What’s your favourite season and why? Autumn. I love the changing colours of the leaves and getting wrapped up for a nice stomp in the fresh air.
If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? I love Mexican food but would probably opt for a traditional Sunday roast with all the trimmings.
Where’s your favourite place to eat locally? Avonfield Kitchen – amazing breakfast.
What’s the weirdest food you’ve ever eaten? Years ago whilst working for a global hotel group I visited Botswana and whilst slightly delirious from the malaria vaccine I’d had (and perhaps a little too much alcohol too!), I recall sampling all sorts of local delicacies around a campfire but thankfully can’t remember exactly what I ate.
What’s your favourite food product at Heritage and why? Isle of Wight tomatoes – they look great and taste amazing – you know summer is on its way when the IoW toms arrive.
