Heritage guarantee lockdown and Christmas deliveries to homes in the South West
With a second lockdown due to commence this Thursday 5th November Heritage Fine Foods based in Coate, Devizes are guaranteeing lockdown deliveries to their current and new customers. In addition, any customers placing an order in the lockdown period will also be guaranteed a delivery slot over the Christmas period (for deliveries between the 15-23rd December).
During the first lockdown Heritage Fine Foods saw their normal stream of sales to restaurants and food outlets suddenly dry up and acted quickly to save the business by reigniting the home delivery service as well as setting up a drive-through contactless service at the farm.
Ken Mortimer, Managing Director commented “Unlike so many other online fruit and veg deliveries that are popping up, Heritage has been delivering fruit and vegetable boxes for well over 15 years and have continued to do this independently of lockdown. Since the last lockdown, we have increased, and continue to increase, our product range to include meat, fish, dairy and many household and grocery products. We also now offer a click and contactless collection service from the farm”.
Kay Mortimer, Operations Director added “We wanted to reassure our customers that we have plenty of delivery capacity for the coming months with a full selection of products (and swap and shop facility on the 5adaybox website). Customer service is core to our service at Heritage – follow any of our social media and you will see an array of happy customers,”
Heritage’s Christmas section is also live and customers can pre-book their slots now. We’ve got an exciting range of Christmas produce being added to our website – every Christmas order will also receive a free cookery book worth £5.00. We’ve also joined forces with Lowerfields Farm to offer a discount to our customers wanting Christmas trees later in the month.
